Target Beauty Box Review [May 2016]

Target Beauty Box Review [May 2016]

So, it seems like they are releasing a new Target Beauty Box every month now?! I'm not mad about it. I love these little boxes!

Target puts out an amazing little subscription box (now every month!) that I just love to snag! They are such a great value for $7-15. This month, the box was $10 and it was so worth it. These boxes are chalked full of high-value items (typically full-sized) and they are always worth the money.

Pur~Lisse Daily Lip Nourisher Review [April 2016 BoxyCharm]

I received the Purlisse Daily Lip Nourisher with Mango and Shea Butter ($16) in my April BoxyCharm and I have to admit...I was a little bit disappointed. I have tried a few products from Purlisse before from various subscription boxes and I've always LOVED their products. So, when I saw this product in my BoxyCharm this month I was so excited! My lips were pretty chapped when I unboxed this box. Naturally, I applied this to my lips to immediately test it out.

Dear Life, Vol. 4

Dear Life, Vol. 4

Normally, I like to space these life update posts out a little bit more. But today I was in the mood to just sit down and talk to you guys and share an update on what's been going on in my life. While I like to write to have a creative outlet, somewhere along the way you get to know the people who read and comment on a lot of posts and you become dear friends. Ergo, where the name comes from :-) So, while this is my creative outlet, this is also a little bit of a diary in a way - except anyone on the Internet is allowed to read it. The past couple of weeks, I've been undecided about what to do with this blog, which is why I would say that my content has not been as up-to-par as normal. But, I'll get to that subject in a minute. For now, I want to give you all an update on what has been going on in my life.

Grain-Free Dog Dental Bones Review

Grain-Free Dog Dental Bones Review

The last time my dog, Riley, had her routine checkup vet appointment, the vet told me she needed to get her teeth cleaned. With her next vet appointment looming, I went on the hunt for double-duty dental bones that can help freshen breath and clean teeth. (I know I'm not the only one who's doggie has some not-so-fresh breath!) Just as well, teeth cleanings are not always the cheapest thing to do for someone who just graduated college. So, finding a better solution was a no-brainer.

Every couple of months, Target puts out an amazing little subscription box that I just love to snag! These boxes are chalked full of high-value items (typically full-sized) and always have a $3 off coupon. (Hint: save this coupon to save a few bucks on your next box!)

I purchased this Target Beauty Box for $7. I just love getting these boxes because the overall value is always well over what you pay for it. Let's dive into the box and see how well it stacks up against that massive $7 price tag. ;-)

We Bought A Zoo // Dear Life Vol. 3

Today I wanted to give you all a little update on what's been going on in my life because it's been pretty hectic. Because you're SOOO interested, right? ;-) I know you are. You're my friends.

  • I started tracking my water intake // I downloaded an app not too long ago that helps me track my water intake because I knew I wasn't drinking enough water. I was drinking way too much sweet tea and Dr. Pepper (my holy grail drinks) and I needed to get better about my hydration. I talked about this app in my "5 Tips for Growing Out Your Hair" blog post, so I'm not going to ramble on and on about it. There's more interesting things to discuss.

Dear Life // Vol. 2

Dear Life // Vol. 2

Even though 2016 has just started, it's already been a pretty busy year. And I can only imagine that it's going to get even more crazier throughout the year!

Here's what's been going on in my world lately:

  • I started obsessing over Animal Crossing again // I haven't played this game in a long time - probably 2 or 3 years because school kept me really busy without a lot of extra free time. It's been fun to get back into the relaxation of gaming. Kaleb also got me the new Animal Crossing game for Christmas, Happy Home Designer. I haven't played it yet. In fact, I'm going to go play it right now, as soon as I finish writing this post.
